Welcome to the City of Dallas Department of Code Compliance Website. Our mission is to foster clean, healthy, safe communities while preventing physical blight from Dallas neighborhoods. The Department Code Compliance enforces City Ordinances and inspects both residential and commercial properties for violations that may threaten the general public’s safety which encompasses Animal Services, Demolition, Restaurant and Bar Inspections, Transportation Regulation, Mosquito Control, and Nuisance Abatement.

Staff Members and Officers respond to 311 service calls, proactive inspections and court ordered actions to resolve and eliminate violations of the City’s various ordinances.
